I am thrilled to be leading Good Shepherd Catholic School Amaroo in 2024. In partnership with Holy Spirit Parish, we strive to excel in Teaching and Learning and to be distinctively Catholic, where every child is known, loved and nurtured to reach their full potential.
Good Shepherd is a Kindergarten to Year 6 Catholic primary school providing the best possible foundation for all children’s future education via a K-12 Catholic pathway here in Gungahlin. We promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children. We teach the importance of good manners and the need for kindness at all times. We teach an academic curriculum combined with many opportunities for children to participate in Music, Sport, STEM and the language of Italian.
As Principal, I feel privileged to be part of the Good Shepherd story. We have a strong sense of community and with a dedicated staff, a supportive parent body and an active and visionary Community Council, the school is part of a vibrant and supportive parish led by Fr Troy Bobbin.
This is a community that encourages all students to value and respect themselves and others in their journey of faith, learning and life.
